Kate Binger founded Designed Interiors, LLC in 2007 and dwelling in the spring of 2011 with a mission to fuse eclectic design into the homes of the west. With an abundance of traditionally western design in the region, Kate brought a fresh mountain modern perspective. She eagerly undertook defining and creating unique spaces that bridge the rustic elements of our surroundings with the contemporary trends of the modern design world. Kate's background includes a BS from Miami University in Art Education with a minor in Fine Arts and Family Studies, as well as FIDER accredited UCLA Interior Design School. Her education coupled with 10 years of work experience in Los Angeles and Jackson Hole, has provided a diverse palate for her residential and commercial work.
dwelling strives to develop eclectic, functional design for each individual client, with the end goal of creating a space that will grow with and contribute to its client’s lifestyle. Layers and juxtaposition of texture and color, in both hard and soft surfaces, help develop spaces that are both useful and unique. In selecting styles and inspiring fabrics for the Stanford showroom, Kate holds true to that design perspective. She starts with color inspiration from the rich, organic rugs that mix warm browns and cool grays, then added layers of texture and unexpected pops of color. Mixing more modern furniture styles with a combination of timeless yet transitional fabrics brings to life her mountain modern perspective in the showroom.
Kate enjoys developing personal relationships with her clients and suppliers, and she loves the collaborative design process, which she feels helps achieve a completely personalized space. Kate believes “The quality, customer service and personalized attention Stanford provides, even across the country in Jackson Hole, is unparalleled.”
