Donna Sweet & Kelsie Lally
Haven Interiors was founded 13 years ago by Donna Sweet and Bridget Carroll to create their own residential boutique design firm that offers the best in home furnishings – from furniture to fabrics, lamps and accessories.
Co-Founder and Senior Designer Donna Sweet describes her favorite style as something eclectic and transitional. “Most people come into a design project with some history, some items they have purchased, collected or inherited over the years,” says Donna, “It’s important that these items be woven into the overall design objective, making each person’s home not only beautiful but personal; truly a reflection of who they are. And in a transitional space, there is room for a bit of the classic, alongside a bit of the contemporary.” Donna’s approach is melding different styles to deliver a home that is not only visually interesting, but ultimately more timeless.

Kelsie Lally, Interior Designer, discovered her spark for design early in life, when instead of playing with dolls and cars, you could find her rearranging the furniture in the dollhouse. That spark turned into a passion as she pursued a degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Kelsie started her design career at Haven as an intern while still in school, and fell in love with everything about the firm; the atmosphere, the clients, the fabrics! About her work, Kelsie says, “It’s true when they say, love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life!’”
“One of my favorite things about design is that it’s ever-changing. While the principles of design remain synonymous, the industry continues to grow and evolve into something more incredible each day. The eclectic fusion of layering new with old, bold with neutral, cozy with sophisticated, is what creates a home, your home.” - Kelsie Lally
